Bear Cub University Welcomes New Bears
Breaking News! Bear Cub University (BCU) announced the arrival of three new students, bringing their student population total to six bear cubs! The California Department of Fish and Wildlife brought these additional bear cubs – two female siblings from the Tahoe area, and a male from Mono County.

Help Us Build Bear Cub University
Launched in October 2021, GCWR started a GoFundMe to help raise funds to build an outdoor large-scale bear rehabilitation enclosure. We need to raise $250,000 to make this project possible.
Gray Foxes in New Outdoor Enclosure
Five gray foxes got a brand new outdoor enclosure to explore and call home. It is our largest enclosure to date and located at our new property. Dedicated staff members and generous volunteers transformed their new area into a fox playground.
