Your help is desperately needed to provide care for future Black Bear cubs like these. We’ve had 12 bear cubs in our care during the last years, and between cars, illness, and wildfires, the number is not likely to slow down.
We expect that a 2024 cub could arrive at any moment, and we are racing to complete the second half of Summit University, our state-of-the-art apex predator enclosure designed specifically with Black Bears in mind. Construction can only happen while we have no bears in care which is why your support today is critical. By completing the second half, we will be able to offer more space, enrichment, and even better care to California’s Black Bear Cubs.
