Give Baby Wildlife a Second Chance to BEE WILD!

Wildlife Baby Season is here and all species of wildlife are courting, nesting, and raising their squeaking, growling, chirping babies. During this time, we receive hundreds of animals that were born to BEE WILD but unfortunate circumstances left them orphaned and needing our help. These newborn animals, like the 14 gray fox kits, are too young to survive on their own and we refuse to give up on them.

At GCWR, we believe giving wildlife a second chance at life means giving back to the health and future of our planet. All wildlife have unique roles to play in nature, like owls helping control rodent populations or bees pollinating flowers, forests, and even the crops we humans rely on for food. More than 4,000 wild species of bees exist in North America, these native bees have evolved to pollinate thousands of native flowers, trees, and plants crucial to our planet’s biodiversity and the survival of wildlife. Without bees, thousands of species of plants and wildlife could not exist.

Bee’s aren’t the only wildlife that benefit so many other lives. Some roles are more intricately woven into the ecosystem, like beavers whose nature is to build their homes to slow down water. They in effect turn trickling creeks into massive wetlands, filter impurities in the water, control flooding, replenish groundwater, and create hundreds of acres of habitat for thousands of species of fish, insects, amphibians, birds and plants.

Wildlife rehabilitation is ONLY successful when injured or orphaned wildlife are able to return home to BEE WILD, to once again fulfill the unique role they serve helping nature. With your support, we can give hundreds of injured and orphaned baby wildlife a second chance at being wild. Every dollar you give helps provide the medical care, nutrition and space they need to grow.

Give to our Wildlife Baby Season “Bee Wild” campaign supporting our rehabilitative work to raise hundreds of orphaned baby animals to BEE WILD. Your donations help us reach our ultimate goal: to return wildlife home, healthy and wild, to fulfill their unique role in the health and diversity of our planet.

Donate today, together we can give these wildlife little lives a second chance to BEE WILD!
