Sewing Circle for Wildlife Tsunami Season!

There are so many different ways to help us provide care for the thousands of animals in our care, and if you like to sew, this might just be perfect for you!

If you’d like to join our remote sewing circle for Wildlife Tsunami Season, we’d love to have you!

There are many items we have sewn for our small animal care, including:

We reuse these as many times as we can, but as you might imagine, wild animals are not easy on their bedding and so they definitely don’t last forever. These items provide comfort and security for the animals in our care, and because they are reusable, we cut down on the garbage we create by washing/disinfecting them after every use.

So if you’re looking for a way to get involved and have the materials and sewing skills, we’d love your help, and you’ll become a member of the wildlife hero team! If you’re looking to sew we recommend contacting contact@goldcountrywildliferescue.org to find out what items we need most at that time.

How do you deliver your sewing creations? You can either mail them to us or drop them off at our Wildlife Intake Center. We are open 7 days a week and ask for drop-offs between 9am and 4pm.
