Give Wildlife a Second Chance on Giving Tuesday – Nov. 29th

Join us online November 29th for Giving Tuesday, 24 hours of giving for one of GCWR’s largest fundraisers of the year supporting our wildlife care year-round. Giving Tuesday started out in 2012 as a simple idea to encourage people to support organizations that make a difference. Today, Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement inspiring millions of people to give and help others, including wildlife, in their community and worldwide.

At Gold Country Wildlife Rescue, the gifts we receive during Giving Tuesday directly supports our work here, in Northern California, to care for California’s wildlife.

Generous donors pledged $60,000 to match – dollar for dollar – each gift we receive during Giving Tuesday, including gifts made before November 29th. With your donation, we can reach, and maybe even surpass, our goal – $120,000!

We are grateful for the support we receive from our community and want to take this opportunity to recognize Claire Bagley, Mary Bennett, Regina Blatt, Donald Deininger, Kay Drengler, Michael F., Ann Giordano, Sallysue Stein, and multiple anonymous donors for their generous pledges of matching funds that will double the impact of your Giving Tuesday gift.

California’s wildlife continue to face challenges including drought, wildfire, and the disruption or loss of habitat. As a result, many sustain injuries, suffer from sickness or become orphans. With your support our doors remain open, our work continues, and thousands of wildlife receive a second chance.

We hope you’ll participate in Giving Tuesday on November 29th!

You don’t have to wait until November 29th to help California’s wildlife. You can Donate today, double the impact of your gift, and continue the momentum towards our goal of $120,000!!

Thank you for being a wildlife hero!
