Call for Submissions: Keep Them Wild 2022 Poster Contest

We are launching a new wildlife campaign to raise awareness of the importance of keeping wildlife wild and to raise support for the animals in our care. Each year we receive wildlife that are habituated or domesticated by humans either intentionally or unintentionally. We are looking for artists of all ages to submit pieces that address a broad interpretation of the theme “Keep Them Wild” to help educate the public and raise support for the hundreds of wildlife in our care. Your art will be featured as our campaign poster throughout September 2022 and showcased on our website and social media to help educate the public.

Artists are encouraged to submit a two-dimensional poster (paintings, photography, drawings, prints, collages, mixed media) that will inspire wildlife activism through art and highlight the beauty of the natural world. We are thrilled to provide an opportunity for artists who are passionate about wildlife to showcase their best work and share a meaningful message conveyed through their unique artistic visions.

The winner receives a $300 gift card, funds donated by Aviatrix LLC – Consulting & Photography along with an anonymous donor.  The winning poster will be featured as Gold Country Wildlife Rescue’s “Keep Them Wild” Campaign artwork showcased on our website, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (over 90K followers) through the end of September 2022.
